If you’ve never hired a writer, you may be hesitant to dive right in. It’s not quite the same as purchasing a product. I want to take the time to ensure the content you receive will align with your company, so we have to chat a bit up front to make sure my work aligns with you.
I want to relieve as much anxiety as possible, so keep reading to know what to expect when you work with KB Freelance Writing.
Whether you purchase through a button on the Services page or send me a message or text to get the ball rolling, we’ll take some time to learn about each other. I’ll want to know about:
Your business: Tell me about the goods or services you provide and what you want your online “vibe” to be. We can also look at your mission statement, principles, and anything else that helps me understand what your company stands for and cares about.
Your goals: What content do you need, and what do you hope to achieve with it?
You: Getting to know you makes long-term projects easier, and I can better tailor the content to fit your brand and you.
You’ll get the chance to learn about myself in this phase, too. KB Freelance Writing is a one-man band directed by yours truly, Kaleigh Brillon. I want you to feel comfortable working with me, especially if we work on long-term projects together.
Once we’ve established your goals, we can begin planning the three pillars of working with a writer: communication, content, and payment.
Communication is key! We’ll establish the best way to contact each other whether it be through email, Slack, phone, or any other method.
If asynchronous communication isn’t your thing, we can schedule phone or video calls to discuss everything. I’m happy to meet in person if you’re in Lubbock.
We’ll discuss your budget and goals to determine the best content schedule. Whether you want content posted daily or monthly or want to receive everything in one batch, we can plan it out and make it happen.
I’ll explain my work process and how long it will take to create the content you want, which will depend on the content itself.
Money talk isn’t fun, but we’re in it together. We’ll discuss pricing and a suitable payment plan to fit your budget.
After we iron out the details, I’ll begin writing and deliver the content according to our agreement.
I’m always available to talk while working, so don’t hesitate to reach out when you need me.
We’ll repeat the entire process as needed, but the more we work together, the less information I’ll need upfront, and the process will become smoother as we go.
You may feel unsure about hiring a writer if you’ve never done it before, but don’t worry—I don’t bite! I want to make the process seamless so you don’t have to fret at every stage.
You’re guaranteed open communication, on-time work, and satisfaction when you work with me. Let’s get in touch and start making irresistible content for your site.
